How To Get Free Lynda Account 2018
The only downside to Lynda.com is that it costs anywhere from $20 per month to $35 per month depending on which plan you take. That’s far cheaper than a formal education, of course, but it’s still a steep price to pay.
The potentially good news is that you may be able to access all of Lynda.com for free. All you have to do is visit one of your local libraries and see if they provide free Lynda.com access to members (library membership is free).
If so, you can access Lynda.com from anywhere using the library’s own web portal, so you won’t even have to physically be in the library building. The only catch is that there may be a limit to how many simultaneous users are allowed through your library.
If your local libraries don’t provide Lynda.com access, you can try requesting it, which may spur them towards it.

- Joel, I used it primarily to learn PhotoShop and some Lightroom. What's cool about the lynda.com courses is that they're broken in to small sections where you can learn just one technique. I also like the fact that all the courses I've taken have written transcripts of what's being said, so it's easy to grab a sentence or paragraph to put into my own notes.
- I've used this wonderful resource, provided by my public library for some time. There is a special login page where I enter my 14-digit library card number and a long, complex password. The normal lynda.com login page wants an email address and password, and the library number is not acceptable as an email address. So be sure to bookmark the special login page. There is no way to change a password without calling lynda.com support, so do not lose it.Also unfortunately, this system does not work with the iOS lynda.com app. It must be used through a browser.hth
